Women's Cross Country's Porter Tabbed SSC Runner of the Week
Porter collects first weekly honor of career
Orlando, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2009) - Nova Southeastern University's women's cross country's Krystal Porter (Sr., Raytown, Mo.) was named the Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. Porter paced NSU at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational on Saturday. Porter covered the 5K course in a time 20:15, placing fourth out of 43 runners.
NSU returns to action on Friday when the Sharks race at the Mountain Dew Invitational in Gainesville. The women's race is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., while the men's race is set for 7:00 p.m.
