Named to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel 6A-5A-4A First Team as a senior, when she posted 219 digs, 193 kills, 187 service aces, and 43 blocks...Also named the BCAA All-Star game MVP as a senior...Collected first team All-County honors from both the Miami Herald and the Sun-Sentinel as a junior...Earned Herald and Sun-Sentinel All-County second team honors as her team won regional and district championships to qualify for the state tournament...Also participated in the USA Volleyball youth national camp...Honorable mention Miami Herald as a freshman and played on the 2003 summer USA Volleyball youth national A3 team...Also ran track, did the triple jump, high jump and 4x100 relay for St. Thomas Aquinas in high school.
