Women's Tennis' Feaster and Porizkova Win Double Cosolation Bracket at C.L. Memorial Invitational
Feaster and Porikova tops Florida Tech's Price and Weinning for doubles consolation title.
Winter Park, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2009) - The Nova Southeastern University women's tennis team concluded action at the C.L. Memorial Invitational on Sunday as the Sharks played in a pair of consolation finals. Justine Feaster (So., Escondido, Calif.) and Karolina Porizkova (Sr., Prostejov, Czech Republic) posted an 8-3 victory over Florida Tech's Monica Price and Alexis Weinnig in the doubles consolation final. It is the first time during the 2009 fall season in which the Sharks have claimed a title.
Meanwhile, Porizkova played in the Flight "A" singles consolation final also on Sunday. Porizkova fell to Rollins' Stefaniya Tkach 7-6, 3-6, 10-8.
