Dustin Gatens enters his fourth year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at NSU after joining the program in July of 2006. Prior to NSU, Gatens was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Bay Point Schools in 2004 and for Hallandale High School from 2005-2006. Gatens also served as a certified athletic trainer during the Sunshine State Games in July 2005 and during the USTA Junior Orange Bowl tennis tournament in December of 2005.
A 2004 graduate of Temple University, Gatens received his Master's Degree from Florida International University in 2006.
