Amy Reckard, Assistant Athletic Trainer Amy Reckard joined the Sports Medicine staff at Nova Southeastern during the summer of 2006. Reckard is responsible for primary athletic training coverage for women's volleyball, women's basketball, and women's tennis. In addition, she serves as the coordinator for NSU Athletics' nutrition management and as an adjunct instructor for the Sports Nutrition course in NSU Farquhar Arts & Sciences. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor's degree in athletic training Reckard went on to complete her Master's degree in Exercise & Sports Science at Florida International University in Miami.

While at FIU, she served as an adjunct instructor teaching courses in aerobics and clinical anatomy and presented a medical case study and original research at both the local and regional levels.

Prior to joining NSU, Reckard served as the Co-Head Athletic Trainer at Hollywood Hills High School in Hollywood, Florida. Born and raised in Colorado, Reckard now resides in Fort Lauderdale.
