James Knapp came to Nova Southeastern in August 2008 to serve as the Coordinator of Athletic Academic Services. Knapp is intricate as an athletic ambassador throughout campus. He is the liaison to NSU's undergraduate advisors for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Knapp coordinates academic support efforts within the NSU athletic department and helps prepare student-athletes for their futures following their athletic careers.
Recently earning his master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Knapp holds his degree in Sports Management, both from Florida International University. A dual sport athlete, Knapp excelled as a baseball and football player while at FIU. Knapp led the Golden Panthers' football team in 2004 and 2005 as team captain.
