Amanda Brown, Assistant Coach (Women's Golf) Amanda Brown, a former standout member of the NSU women's golf team, joined the athletics' staff as the Women's Assistant Golf Coach in January of 2007.

Brown comes to the Sharks after serving as a Master Instructor at the Jim McLean Golf Academy in Weston, Florida for the past two years. During her stellar four-year career, Brown was twice named an All-American Scholar-Athlete by the National Golf Coaches Academy (2003 & 2004) and also an NAIA All-American after her freshman season. She was also nominated for "Female Athlete of the Year" at the Student Life Achievement Awards (Stuey's) ceremony in 2004.

Among her numerous top-10 finishes, Brown captured two individual tournament titles. She finished first at the NSU Spring Classic (4/1/03), while shooting a course-low 151. Her second career individual title came at the Lady Falcon Invitational (9/28/03) when she carded a two-day total of 147.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Amanda graduated from NSU in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
