Alexandra Rousseau enters her second season as assistant women's basketball coach at Nova Southeastern. Prior to her coaching experience, Rousseau played collegiate basketball at Georgia Southern University, where she was a winner of the Scholar Athlete Award. After completing her four-year career, she was the assistant coach for GSU women's basketball for two years. In 2006, Rousseau was the assistant coach with J.P. Taravella HS Girls Varsity Basketball team and, most recently, was head coach for Boca Hoops U-13 travel team.
Rousseau also played professionally for the Grasshoppers Basketball Organization in the Netherlands where she was selected to the Top 5 of Women's Basketball Players in Holland. While there, she coached youth basketball and assisted in numerous basketball clinics.
Rousseau holds a bachelor's degree in sport management and a master's in business administration, both from Georgia Southern.
