Robin Martin enters her first season at NSU after a four-year career at Division I Auburn where she appeared in 135 games. After her fourth and final year of eligibility, she stayed on as a Student-Assistant Coach for the Tigers. During her collegiate playing career, Martin helped Auburn to three NCAA Tournament appearances while the Tigers were also ranked in the Top 25, including a #12 ranking. During her senior season, Martin helped lead Auburn to the Regional Championship where they lost to eventual National Champion Arizona. Martin also excelled in the classroom, earning Auburn University Top Tiger Award honors from 2004 to 2007 while being named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, she was also named an NSCA Strength and Conditioning All-American.
Prior to joining NSU, Martin was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Jensen Beach High School softball as well as the Assistant Varsity and Junior Varsity softball coach. She was also the Head Coach of the Treasure Coast Splash 16 and under travel softball team in 2007.
The 2007 cum laude graduate of Auburn University holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism with a double minor in criminology and sport coaching.
