Ryan Jamison enters his fourth season as mens golf assistant coach after joining NSU in August of 2006. In 2008-2009, Jamison helped direct the Sharks to another SSC championship. He mentored senior All-American Greg O'Mahony and SSC Freshman of the Year Ben Vertz.
In 2007-2008, Jamison guided the Sharks to a 5th place finish in the National Championship, marking the highest finish in program history. Constantin Schwierz achieved All-America status with the help of Jamison's tutelage.
Jamison helped lead NSU to their second SSC Championship in three years and to their second selection to the NCAA Division II South/South Central Super Regional in 2006-07. He also helped coach freshman Eric Cole to SSC Freshman of the year honors.
Prior to joining the Sharks, Jamison completed a stellar four-year collegiate career at Division I DePaul University in Chicago. While with the Blue Demons, Jamison won the 75th Midwest Amateur tournament by five shots.
Additionally, he captained the DePaul squad his final two seasons and represented the university at the SAAC (Student Athletic Academic Committee) national conference at the University of Memphis during his junior year.
In 2004, Jamison also assisted ESPN in its coverage of the US Open golf tournament from Olympia Fields Country Club in Chicago. Jamison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from DePaul.
