Women's Soccer to Play Fourth-Seed Saint Leo at 7 p.m. in SSC Tournament on Tuesday
Winner advances to face top-seed Rollins in semifinals
Orlando, Fla. (Oct. 30, 2009) Fifth-seeded Nova Southeastern women's soccer will play at fourth-seeded Saint Leo in the first round of the Sunshine State Conference on Tuesday, as the conference office announced the 2009 SSC Tournament pairings on Friday morning.Top-seeded Rollins will host the semifinals and finals. Rollins and No. 2 seed Florida Tech both received first-round byes.
The 2009 SSC Tournament begins on Tuesday with the two first-round games. The NSU-Saint Leo game will take place at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, No. 3 seed Florida Southern hosts sixth-seeded Lynn also at 7 p.m, with the winner of meeting Florida Tech in the 4:30 p.m. semifinal, on Friday, Nov. 6. Rollins takes on the NSU-Saint Leo winner at 7 p.m. The championship game is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8. The 2009 SSC Tournament Champion will automatically qualify for the 2009 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championships.
