Tim Coenraad Selected DAKTRONICS 2nd Team All-South Region

Coenraad Earns 2nd Team Nod For 2nd Consecutive Year

athletic pic CARROLLTON, G.A. (Mar. 13, 2009)  For the second time in as many years, Nova Southeastern University men's basketball player Tim Coenraad (Sr., Brisbane, Australia) was selected as a DAKTRONICS 2nd Team All-South Region member.

The honors continue to mount for Coenraad, as he was chosen 1st team Sunshine State Conference last week.

Coenraad led the Sharks to a third place finish in the highly competitive Sunshine State Conference this season, averaging 13.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He was named the SSC Freshman of the year and tabbed 2nd team All-Conference in his freshman campaign (2005-06). In 2007-08, Coenraad was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team, NABC All-South Region First Team and DAKTRONICS All-South Region Second Team.

The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition. The team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
