NSU Cheerleading Head Coach CA Tolchinsky Announces Dates for NSU Cheerleading Summer Camp
Registration for NSU's Cheerleading Summer Camp is Underway
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (January 2, 2008) - Dates for the NSU Cheerleading Summer Camp were announced today by NSU Cheerleading head coach C.A. Tolchinsky. Each session will be a two-day instructional camp for 5-18 year-olds. The first session will run from June 14-15, while the second session will run from July 26-27. Both sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m. at the NSU University Center on the main campus of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The cost per camper is $70.00 per two-day session.
Coach Tolchinsky and assistant cheerleading coaches Emilee Hubbard and Laura Fleece, along with the NSU cheerleaders, will instruct the attendees in the areas of cheering, jumping, stunting, tumbling and dancing. The girls will be divided into age and ability groups.
Coach Tolchinsky and her staff have directed the NSU cheerleading team to a WCA Championship title and an appearance at College Nationals. Tolchinsky, with over 17 years of coaching experience, was most recently named in "Who's Who among College Cheerleading Coaches" by American Cheerleader Magazine. The NSU cheerleading team was Varsity.com's November's "Cheer Squad of the Month."
