Cheerleaders Serve As Celebrity Scoopers
NSU cheer joins Cold Stone Creamery to Benefit Make-a-Wish
Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (Sept. 25, 2008) To assist The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida, in partnership with Cold Stone Creamery, the NSU cheerleaders participated in the World's Largest Ice Cream Social as Celebrity Scoopers on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008. During the event, the cheerleaders encouraged members of the community to join together and enjoy free servings of ice cream, family activities and good-natured fun. Two special ice cream combinations (Emily's and Jack's Creations), were developed by wish children and were shared with everyone who attended in exchange for a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
