Katie Veltri

Katie is a member of the women's softball team. She currently holds a batting average of .460 and is among the conference leaders in batting average, hits and runs scored while leading the conference in homers, RBI, slugging percentage and on-base percentage. This season, she broke the NSU career and single-season homerun (12) and RBI records (62) and had a team-leading 11-game hitting streak. She is also one of the top run producers in the country, ranking in the Top 50 in Division II in RBI per game. Defensively, she has a fielding percentage of .995 while seeing time in the outfield, at first base, second base and at catcher. She has been named Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week twice this season.

Diego Aguiar

Diego is a member of the men's basketball team. He earned Second team All-Sunshine State Conference Honors, the highest individual honor for an NSU men's basketball player. He led the Sharks to the programs first ever Sunshine State Tourn1ament post season victory while averaging a team-best 14.3 points and 5.8 rebounds. He was first in team field goal percentage with a 59.5 mark. He was second in steals (41) and second in blocked shots (22).
